BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - BACKGROUND VERIFICATIONS

Job Summary: The Manager - Business Development - Background Verifications (BGV) will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of our BGV services. This role focuses on sales and marketing efforts to promote Employee Screening, Customer Screening, and Corporate Screening services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, sales, and marketing within the background verification industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to increase sales of BGV services.

  • Identify, pursue new business opportunities in Employee Screening, Customer Screening, and Corporate Screening.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client needs and drive business growth.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.

  • Monitor and report on business development performance metrics.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • An advanced degree or professional certification is preferred.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the background verification industry.

  • Proven track record of success in selling BGV services.

  • Strong knowledge of Employee Screening, Customer Screening, and Corporate Screening processes and regulations.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales and marketing tools.

  • Experience working with diverse client groups and managing high-profile accounts.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.
