MANAGER - ACCOUNTING (RTR)
Job Summary: The Manager - Accounting (RTR) will oversee the end-to-end Record to Report process, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial records. This role involves managing general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the Record to Report process, including GL accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, & financial reporting.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records in compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal policies.
Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Lead and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation & addressing audit findings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
Utilize accounting software and financial systems to automate processes and improve accuracy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA) is required.
Minimum of 9 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and regulatory compliance requirements.
Proven track record of successfully managing accounting processes and leading teams.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
Experience in a multinational organization.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
Familiarity with industry-specific financial metrics and KPIs.
Multilingual abilities are a plus.
