SENIOR PMO CONSULTANT

Job Summary: The Senior PMO Consultant will play a pivotal role in the PMO, overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of key projects. This role requires a seasoned project management professional with a proven track record in managing complex projects, aligning them with business objectives, and ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of PMO frameworks and methodologies.

  • Oversee the management of multiple, concurrent projects ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

  • Provide strategic direction and guidance on project management best practices.

  • Ensure compliance with project management standards and processes across all projects.

  • Conduct project reviews and audits to ensure adherence to governance and quality standards.

  • Facilitate resource allocation and prioritization of projects.

  • Monitor project performance and provide regular status updates to senior leadership.

  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation plans as necessary.

  • Mentor and train project managers and team members on PMO processes and tools.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the PMO.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.

  • An advanced degree in Project Management or PMP certification is highly needed.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a PMO role.

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale, complex projects across various industries.

  • Strong understanding of PMO frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in project management software tools, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or equivalent.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Experience in a multinational organization.

  • Knowledge of Agile and Lean methodologies.

  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.

  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.
