PMO CONSULTANT

Job Summary: The PMO Consultant will be responsible for supporting the PMO in the planning, execution, and delivery of key projects. This role requires a knowledgeable project management professional with experience in managing projects and implementing PMO best practices. The PMO Consultant will work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of PMO frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.

  • Assist in the management of multiple, concurrent projects ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

  • Provide guidance and support to project managers on project management processes and tools.

  • Conduct project reviews and audits to ensure compliance with governance and quality standards.

  • Facilitate resource allocation and prioritization of projects.

  • Monitor project performance and provide regular status updates to senior leadership.

  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation plans as necessary.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO.

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk registers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. A PMP certification is preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with experience in a PMO role.

  • Strong understanding of PMO frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in project management software tools, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or equivalent.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Experience in a multinational organization.

  • Knowledge of Agile and Lean methodologies.

  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.

  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.
